Hello. I am back in the blogging business. I will be commenting frequently now on whatever topics interest me. Mostly my posts will be short and intended to stay up only a short while.

These posts will be linked to by twitter or instagram, e-mails, or sometimes my or other websites. My serious writing, stuff I want to keep up permanently, will be here briefly but posted elsewhere in an accessible archive.

I have two big topics. One is the urgent need for an adults directed reconstruction of present institutions. My special focus is on the need for what is presently called a Universal Basic Income. I like the term Livingrant. The idea is currently in fashion but is not being understood or advocated for in a good way.

The key to understanding this issue right is that any UBI is absolutely incompatible with capitalism or any kind of class hegemony. Any idea of UBI which does not integrate with a socialization of society is bogus. It will be something very bad for the vast majority of people.

The other big topic is the need to do something about one particular non functioning institution, the Ontario legal system. I have a special interest in that because I have had a problem with people using this system to attack me. It is a very complicated story but I think one of the best defenses is publicity.
